Jenny Romaine, Musical Director:
Jenny Romaine, music director (some writing, some ringing) models her life on the radical stylings of Jennifer Miller/Circus Amok and is a founding member of Great Small Works [1] theater collective. She plays in the performance band Lesser Panda and is part of an intergenerational mob of artists committed to keeping new Yiddish theater at the heart of social life.
[1]Mary Feaster, Bass
Mary Feaster is a bassist and sound artist. When she's not out and about with Circus Amok she performs with The Electric Junkyard Gamelan, an ensemble using instruments built from household and industrial objects. She can also be found playing bass with several other fabulous projects or working on sound mixes for films.
[1]Sarah Ferholt, Trumpet
Sarah Ferholt is a musician and music teacher living in Brooklyn, NY. Her priority in work and play is to involve Brooklyn kids with music and social justice. Sarah currently performs Balkan music with brass bands Zlatne Uste and Veveritse. She has performed Klezmer and Balkan music with various ensembles at festivals and concerts in Canada, Russia, Slovenia, Germany, Hungary, and Serbia, as well as throughout the United States. Sarah also works as the Assistant Director of Music Partners at the Brooklyn Queens Conservatory of Music, where she supervises the Band Division and teaches elementary music in Brooklyn Public Schools.

[1]Jessica Lurie, Alto Sax
Jessica Lurie is an instrumentalist, composer, and collaborator based in Brooklyn. She is a lead performer and composer with The Tiptons Sax Quartet, the Jessica Lurie Ensemble, and Living Daylights Trio, and collaborates with many other projects in the US and Europe. Her talents, song writing, avant-garde style and use of technology has marked her as an innovator in her field. She is currently working on a series of new multi-media performances with painter Danijel Zezelj, and look for her newest CD Release "Shop of Wild Dreams" out this fall! [3]Tina Richerson, Baritone Sax
Tina Richerson (Bachelor of Music, University of Idaho and Master of Music, University of Washington) is a member of the internationally touring all female saxophone quartet and drums “The Tiptons” and leads her own self titled jazz trio. Ms. Richerson recently relocated to New York, but while in Seattle she lead a 5 piece jazz combo “Hard Bop or Naught” and was a contributing figure in the jazz scene.
