Jenny Romaine (music dir., accordion, some writing) is a performer, puppeteer and directer who is a founding member of the Great Small Works theater collective. She is unable to keep herself from performing on the street. Vehicles for this addiction include the horde of Yiddish spectacle singers and musicians known as the Sukkos Mob, and The Milk Not Jails Campaign. Romaine tours with Copper Henningfield, “world’s greatest magician,” in La Ciudad, The Magic Box of NYC. She makes puppet films, toy theater shows, stages giant pageants with the Auf Tslokhes Ladies Auxillary and others, co-hosts mega festivals with GSW, and teaches in NYC public schools,and at universities.
